After an unexpected history lesson about his home town, James Vogel decided to shift his DJing and dance based productions to his newest moniker, F/Switch. Paying homage to his roots, love for graffiti, breakin’ and train/subway systems, F/Switch encompasses a combination of minimal techno, electro and idm. In his first release, No Fortune, F/Switch display’s his versatile and melded style of electronic music while expressing his aptitude to create moody, cinematic songs. The EP is a direct reflection of his time spent in the studio working on music for Alejandro Marin’s independent film No Fortune. F/Switch continues to develop his new musical direction and stays in tune with the dance floor as the primary DJ behind lokol’s monthly webcast, Cume.
